Man shoots and critically wounds mother and stepfather, kills self in quiet Waldorf subdivision

A 33-year-old man shot and critically injured his mother and stepfather Tuesday in Waldorf, then retreated to an upstairs bedroom where he shot and killed himself.

Fire at Samuel Mudd museum in Waldorf

In Charles County, someone tried to set fire to an exterior door at the Dr. Samuel A. Mudd House Museum in Waldorf sometime on Wednesday, the Maryland State Fire Marshal's office reported Thursday.
