Va. teen’s lawsuit against government officials dismissed

A federal judge in Alexandria dismissed a lawsuit filed by a 19-year-old Northern Virginia teenager against federal officials he accused of unfairly putting him on the government’s no-fly list and barring his return to the U.S. from Kuwait.

Somali indicted for alleged role in deadly pirate attack

A federal grand jury in Norfolk indicted Wednesday a Somali man for his alleged role in negotiating the ransom of four U.S. citizens who were held as hostages and later killed by pirates aboard their yacht off the Oman coast in the Arabian Sea.
