Biddle sworn in as newest D.C. Council member

Sekou Biddle was sworn in Friday as a D.C. Council member, less than 24 hours after prevailing in a close vote among Democratic party activists.

Former Kaine aide to run D.C. Health Care Finance Agency

Wayne Turnage, former chief of staff to Gov. Timothy M. Kaine (D), will be named head of the D.C. Health Care Finance Agency, according to sources close to Kaine and D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray.

Graham hires city contractor to hang campaign signs

Campaigns can post placards on street fixtures, but it takes skill and experience to affix them high on lampposts while avoiding injury and adhering to rigorous city rules on where signs can be posted.
