Same-sex marriage bill remains stalled in Md. House

The fate of Maryland's same-sex marriage bill remained unclear Wednesday, as House leaders indicated they would not try again to bring it to a committee vote until at least Thursday.

In statement, Alston says she is prepared to vote on same-sex marriage bill

Del. Tiffany T. Alston (D-Prince George's) issued a statement early Wednesday morning saying she is now prepared to vote on Maryland's same-sex marriage bill and will do so "based on what I believe to be right."
