Groveton oral history project from ’70s now online

Two teachers at the old Groveton High sent their students out into the community in the late 1970s and had them record and transcribe oral histories of the area. Now it’s all online.

Costco coming to Route 1, traffic may be affected

Fairfax County on Tuesday approved the arrival of a new Costco warehouse store on Route 1 in Mount Vernon. With BRAC also coming to the area, drivers are holding their breath.
