It was back in 1999 when we first met a young James Franco. And by "met" I mean, of course, first saw him and fell head over heels for his "Freaks and Geeks" character, Daniel Desario -- the rebel with a heart of gold. He was the thinking woman's Jordan Catalano. A Dylan Walsh, hold the cheese. In a word, he was perfect. One iteration of the 'Three's Company' cast: Don Knotts, Joyce DeWitt, Richard Kline, John Ritter, Suzanne Somers and Ann Wedgeworth. (Nick at Night) Apparently, nothing is sacred to James Franco. Or everything is. Either way, I'm okay with it because it results in him doing things like enrolling in four graduate degree programs simultaneously, volunteering himself as a guest star on "General Hospital," posing in drag and directing creatively-named short films. (You'll have to Google that last one to get the NSFW title.) His latest project? "Three's Company: The Drama," which is described in a press release from the Sundance Institute as "a multi-media examination of the classic '70s sitcom." The release goes on: "Television has undoubtedly shaped our world: our increased exposure to dramatic entertainment, the shapes of our houses, the shape of the time in our day. In this piece James Franco hopes to pull television from...
