Fenty headquarters empty; Gray supporter jubilant

The Georgia Avenue campaign headquarters for Mayor Adrian M. Fenty was empty Wednesday morning -- a window that shattered Tuesday night after a volunteer leaned on it remained missing. Anyone could walk into the unsecured former car dealership where equipment and paraphernalia remained.

Gray picks up Ward 8 Democrats' endorsement

The Ward 8 Democratic Committee voted overwhelmingly Saturday to endorse Vincent C. Gray over incumbent Adrian M. Fenty in the mayor's race. In Ward 3, the Gray-Cheh ticket (not exactly)

Over the past week, Gray volunteers have been near the Van Ness Metro station handing out campaign materials for both the chairman and Cheh. And if you see someone putting up a Gray yard sign in Ward 3, it's a safe bet they are also putting up Cheh signs nearby.

Housing director not sold on CFO takeover
