Housing director not sold on CFO takeover

Adrienne Todman, interim director of the D.C. Housing Authority, said Tuesday that her agency remains independent by law and questioned whether the agency's finances can be taken over by Chief Financial Officer Natwar M. Gandhi as he plans.

Gandhi warns council on fee maneuver

Chief Financial Officer Natwar M. Gandhi is warning D.C. maneuver Council members that its vote to table a proposal by the mayor to raise or impose hundreds of fees could cost the city $2.3 million in revenue this summer.
