Federal employee financial disclosures to remain offline

President Obama has signed into law a bill reversing a requirement enacted in April 2012, but never carried out, that federal agencies post online the financial disclosure forms of some 28,000 of their employees.

Ethics office endorses suspending requirement on posting of financial disclosure reports

The Office of Government Ethics agrees with a report finding unnecessary risks in putting federal employee financial forms online.

President signs bill to extend deadline for online financial disclosures

The president on Friday signed off on extending the deadline for senior-level employees of the executive and legislative branches to file financial disclosures online as required by the Stock Act.
