Martin Sullivan steps down as Portrait Gallery director

Martin Sullivan, director of the National Portrait Gallery since 2008, announced Monday that he is stepping down at the end of the month. He will become a senior scholar at the Smithsonian.

Amelia Earhart will be focus of year-long exhibition at Portrait Gallery
