Vote Evan Moss for People magazine’s ‘Hero’

The 7-year-old author from the Alexandria area of Fairfax County is one of nine nominees for People’s “Reader’s Choice Hero” award, which carries a $10,000 grand prize.

UPDATE: Evan Moss raises $42,000 for service dogs

The 7-year-old author of a book, trying to raise $13,000 to buy a service dog to help him with severe epileptic seizures, has now raised enough money for seven other children to get dogs too.

Evan Moss, 7-year-old with epilepsy, has his first book-signing Sunday

Evan Moss needs $13,000 to purchase a specially trained seizure dog to help him, and he had the idea to write a book to raise the money. Then he did it. Now he’s ready to sign and sell them.
