The Bush administration's fiscal 2004 budget request for the Energy Department's Nuclear Security Administration asks for $21 million for new weapons studies, including $15 million for exploring the feasibility of a robust nuclear earth penetrator and $6 million to set up advance design teams to look at other concepts. A Feb. 20 article incorrectly reported that it included $21 million for the latter program alone.
