Ahmed Bile won his second straight Virginia AAA title in 15:16, ninth-fastest all-time.

AOY: Sophie Chase, Lake Braddock

Carl Little

Junior Sophie Chase went undefeated against local competition and won the Virginia AAA title.

POY: Alyssa Parker, Glenelg

Greg Schimmel and Preston Williams

Alyssa Parker finished her high school career with 114 goals, 108 assists and two Maryland 2A titles.

Matt Brooks and James Wagner

Alex Holston powered the Warriors to their second straight Maryland 4A title and undefeated season.

The Post honors the area’s best high school athletes in baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track and field, rowing, golf and gymnastics.

At 5 feet 7, Aquille Carr of Baltimore’s Patterson High is one of the top guards in the country and a YouTube sensation.

Westfield’s Darby Nelson is an All-Met rower and CrossFit workout enthusiast. She’s also 160 pounds of muscle, and very comfortable in her own skin.
