Think you had it rough? Amy Joyce started her life at The Washington Post in 1995 as a copy aide. She eventually landed a gig as a business reporter in the bureaus, and wrote the Life at Work column. From that, a book called “I Went to College for This?” was born, and she became the workplace reporter. Two days after her first son was born, she was offered the Weekend editor job. Now the deputy editor, immersed in tough topics like movies, bars, art and theater, she lives in D.C. with her husband, Steven Ginsberg, and two little guys. She will always say thank you to the hard working copy aides.
