Anne Kornblut is a White House correspondent for the Washington Post. She has covered the past three U.S. presidential campaigns, most recently covering Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. She worked previously for The New York Times and the Boston Globe, where she began covering national politics in 1998. She is the author of “Notes from the Cracked Ceiling: Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, and What It Will Take for a Woman to Win,” which explores female candidates’ historic role in the 2008 presidential campaign.
