Oman, o man: Scheppelmann to Muscat

WNO news: Scheppelmann to leave, announces plans for new American Opera Initiative on the way out

Christina Scheppelmann, the director of artistic operations of the Washington National Opera, will step down in November, perhaps clearing the field for Francesca Zambello. WNO also announces details of the first round of its program to foster young American composers.
