Springfield’s Jaxx rock club sues Gunnar Nelson, alleging slander

Jay Nedry, longtime owner of the venerable headbanging venue, was outraged when Nelson claimed that Nedry stiffed them after a 2008 show. And Nelson’s own records show they received at least partial, if not full, payment.

Sean Lanigan sues Fairfax schools for his legal fees

The former Centreville elementary school teacher, acquitted of molesting a 12-year-old girl, asked the school board to repay $107,000, but the board only offered $60,000, conditional on a waiver of future liability.

Tysons Metro parking? Fuhgeddaboutit

The four new Metro stations at Tysons Corner are only two years away. And there is NO parking planned for any of them. Zero. Fairfax County is working on renting parking space, but that’s only short-term.

Vienna’s Sam Savia does 70 years on the fire line
