#5in5 by the numbers so far…

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — 2chambers is a few days into our trip to Florida (full disclosure: This five-day trip is actually stretching to seven), so let’s quickly recap our progress thus far:

Total miles traveled since Friday night: 1,304 miles.

Places visited: Miami; Delray Beach, Boca Raton and Ft. Pierce, Fla.

Gas prices: $3.91 for a gallon of regular unleaded in Delray; $3.79 for a gallon of regular unleaded in Pompano Beach, Fla.

Where have I eaten?: Chicken and Caribbean BBQ ribs at Pollo Tropical in Miami (yum); “Ropa Vieja” at Versailles Restaurant in Miami (delicious); The Lobster Po’ Boy Sandwich at Boston’s on the Beach in Delray (very meaty); the Tuna Steak Burger at The Office in Delray (incredible).
