Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) sent a message to his Facebook fans letting them know that his Lake Jackson, Texas house is for sale.
Paul posted the following message on this Facebook page Thursday:
Carol and I are selling the house we lived in for over 40 years. If you or someone you know is moving to the Houston/Galveston/Lake Jackson area, they can get more information through this website.
The post links back to a Web site that features photos of Paul’s home where he and his wife raised their five children, including Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.). The house, which Paul advertises as being a place where “generations of Liberty loving kids have grown up,” has a price tag of $325,000.
The post came one day before Paul announced that he would be taking a step toward a presidential run, setting up a committee to help him test the 2012 waters. “He remains undecided and won’t be making a final decision until, probably, mid-May,” Paul’s spokesman Jesse Benton said, according to the Associated Press.
