White House to host conference Thursday on how to tackle bullying

The White House will spend much of Thursday taking on a problem usually reserved for parents, teachers and principals: bullying.

Administration officials, including President Obama, will speak about bullying and the importance of preventing it in a four-hour conference at the White House that will also include feedback from experts on bullying.

Obama spoke out against bullying in school in October after there was a series of suicides by gay teens across the country who had been teased or bullied.

Here is the president and Michelle Obama’s preview of the event, which they posted on Facebook.
