Everyone is a nerd about something. There’s a topic that makes your blood pump and your brain fizz and you make more gestures than usual and you overexplain and garble your words and generally go nuts with curiosity and possibility and excitement.
Mine’s weirdo theater. I will see something like the upcoming-here The Strange Case of Prudencia Hart and think, dreamlike journey! Wittily wild karaoke! Edinburgh Fringe AND National Theatre of Scotland! Drinking! Yesssssssssssss. And usually about four minutes into telling someone about it, I notice he’s wandered away. (But!
