Questions for Primary Day in Va.

The polls are open across Virginia. Yes, they are. Democrats will select their lieutenant governor and attorney general nominees. A handful of House contests are on the radar, too, including the bruising contests for the open 85th District seat and the Joe May-Dave LaRock battle in the 33rd

A few points to ponder for the day:

Will the Democrats choose an all-NoVa statewide ticket?

Will Joe Morrissey and Henry Marsh succeed in bouncing fellow Democratic incumbent Rosalyn Dance from her House seat?

Will voter turnout in the Democratic primary top the 6 percent showing in 2009?

Will the GOP’s transportation tax hike come back to haunt them, or is it a nothingburger?
