I often keep a stash of dried figs in my pantry, mostly for baking purposes. They’re great. But fresh figs are a totally different animal — or fruit, rather. This week you’ll find them at a few area markets, including Saturday’s 14th & U Farmers Market, Saturday’s H Street NE FreshFarm Market and Sunday’s Bloomingdale Farmers Market.
