Farmers Market Roundup: Dec. 13-18

It’s holiday season, which also means it’s party season.(Invitation’s in the mail.) Perhaps you have a showstopper main course and dessert planned, but you’ll probably also want to have some drinks and snacks to greet guests as they arrive. The makings of a great welcome platter can be found at area farmers markets. We like the sound of the Spanish chorizo and hot pepper jelly at Saturday’s FreshFarm Market in Silver Spring and the Keswick Creamery cheeses at Sunday’s Takoma Park Farmers Market.
