Farmers Market Roundup: Dec. 29

This week we’re highlighting a market new to this space, the Great Falls Community Farmers Market. While a good number of the markets we regularly feature have closed for the season, the Great Falls market is open year-round. It operates Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 750 Walker Rd. in Great Falls Village Centre.

Here’s what you’ll find there:

Baguette Republic: Italian panettone; Dresden stollen; French buche de noel in chocolate and vanilla; chocolate cherry bread; New Year’s log.

Bon Vivant: grass-fed, pastured rabbit and lamb legs and shoulders; truffle hummus.

Caprikorn Farms: cranberry horseradish chevre; hostess gourmet goat’s cheese gift plates and boxes.

High View Farm: Berkshire pork bratwurst; bacon; Conestoga corn bread.

Tuscarora Organic Growers Cooperative: young kale; lettuce mixes; mesclun; Asian greens; root vegetables. Organic.

Wild Mountain Honey: flavored honey spreads.
