Key Ingredient: Oysters

This week in his Sourced column, David Hagedorn spent some time with Bruce Wood, who sells oysters and then uses discarded shells to help rebuild their habitat.

Oyster Stew (James M. Thresher for The Washington Post)
David offered up several tasty — and gorgeous — oyster recipes to go along with the story, but if you’re looking for some additional inspiration, try these options from our Recipe Finder:

Grilled Oysters With Lemon Dill Sauce, from none other than Paula Deen.

Hangtown Fry, a frittata-like dish with bacon on top.

Oyster Stew, simply prepared with potatoes and cream.

Spinach-Oyster Rolls With Mustard Sauce, a quick, no-cook appetizer.

What’s your favorite way to eat oysters?
