Twin Springs Fruit Farm: fairy cabbage (British nickname for the small, loose cabbage-like ball that a Brussels sprout plant produces at the top).
At Sunday’s Takoma Park Farmers Market:
Atwater’s Bakery: breads; scones; muffins; cookies.
Audia’s Farm: jams; dried herbs; spice mixes; spiced pickled radishes.
Bees ’n Blossoms: varietal honeys; creamed honeys; propolis; bee pollen products.
Black Rock Orchard: apples; cider.
Ferry Landing Farm and Apiary: eggs.
Homestead Farm: greenhouse tomatoes, mixed greens and lettuce; fresh herbs, including dill, parsley and chives; Swiss chard; spinach; kale; mustard greens; purslane; sweet potatoes; tatsoi; turnips; butternut squash; micro greens; dried hot peppers.
Keswick Creamery: aged raw-milk cheeses, such as cheddar, Vermeer, Wallaby and Lesher; pasteurized fresh products, such as quark, whole-milk ricotta, yogurt and chocolate pudding.
Smith Meadows: free-range, grass-fed beef, pork, lamb, veal and eggs; pastas; sauces; potpies.
Stone Hearth Bakery: breads; scones; muffins; croissants; tarts; cookies; empanadas.
Twin Springs Fruit Farm: apples; winter squash; Brussels sprouts; arugula.
