Bigg Riggs Farm: Stanley prune plums ($4 per pint), sweet peppers ($4 per pint), spicy peach barbecue sauce ($6 per pint), Gala apples ($2.50 per pound).

Pecan Meadow Farm: Free-range pastured chicken, baked candy bars, eggs, grass-fed beef steaks and burgers.

Whisked!: pulled-pork tart, caramelized onion goat cheese tart, peach crumble pie.

Kuhn Orchards: Bartlett and Asian pears, grapes, butterscotch melons, plums, leeks and Zestar! and Blondee apples.

McCleaf’s Orchard: snow giant white peaches, tomatoes, honeycrisp and Star Gala apples, seedless watermelon and okra.

Copper Pot Food Co.: beer-can chicken tortellini, pulled-pork nectarine and bourbon cappellacci and rabbit ravioli.

Garner’s Produce: Roma and wax beans, white corn and black-eyed peas.

Spiral Path Farm: Roma tomatoes.

Mock’s Greenhouse: purple green beans, yellow burpless cucumbers.

At Sunday’s Takoma Park Farmers Market:

Twin Springs Fruit Farm: honeycrisp apples,Royal Gala apples, tomatoes, peaches, canary melons and carrots.

Blue Ridge Botanicals: starter pots of lettuces, kale and spinach ( 2.5-inch pots $2 each or six for $10).

Ferry Landing Farm and Apiary, Smith Meadows, North Mountain Pastures and Waterpenny Farm: fresh eggs.

Black Rock Orchard: Zestar!, McIntosh and Gala apples and a variety of peaches.

Garner’s Produce: Roma and wax green beans, white corn and black -eyed peas.

Truck Patch Farms: eggs, grass-fed ground beef and beef patties, pork sausage, pork chops, smoked hot dogs, spare ribs and country ribs, arugula, mesclun, spinach, kale, Swiss chard, eggplant, beets, squash and basil.

Painted Hand Farm: goat chorizo sausage and German-style bratwurst and grass-fed ground beef patties.

At Tuesday’s FreshFarm Market in Crystal City:

Kuhn Orchards: Concord grapes for ($5 per pound), Asian pears ($3.29 per pound), Bartlett pears ($2.69).

Bigg Riggs Farm: Swiss chard ($3 per bunch), McIntosh and Gala apples ($2.50 per pound).

Barajas Produce: tiny acorn squash ($1 each), butternut squash ($.50 per pound).

At Wednesday’s FreshFarm Market in Foggy Bottom:

Atwater’s Bakery: eggplant and mushroom miso soup.

Blueberry Hill: Oxheart tomatoes.

At Wednesday’s Health and Human Services FreshFarm Market:

Garner’s Produce: Romano beans and shelled lima beans ($6 per pint).

Evensong Farm: poulet rouge chickens ($5.50 per pound).

SPECIAL EVENTS

At Thursday’s FreshFarm Market in Penn Quarter, chef Terry Natas of Carmine’s will demonstrate a salad with fall fruits and walnuts from 4 to 5 p.m.

At Thursday’s FreshFarm Market by the White House: Elizabeth Petty of Elizabeth’s Gone Raw will demonstrate a melon ceviche recipe from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

At Sunday’s FreshFarm Market at Dupont Circle, chef Dean Gold of Dino will perform a cooking demonstration from 11 a.m. to noon.

At Saturday’s H Street NE FreshFarm Market: Food educator Melissa Jones will demonstrate a stone fruit slaw from 9 to 10 a.m.
