Anchor Nursery: Asian pears.

Sand Hill Farm: sweet potatoes.

Dolcezza: peaches and cream gelato ($6 per half pint).

Mountain View Farm: okra and beets.

At Thursday’s FreshFarm Market by the White House:

Bigg Riggs Farm: honey pearl melons ($3 each) and pattypan squash ($2.50 per pound).

Pleasant Pops: cookies and cream popsicles.

Blueberry Hill: orange paste tomatoes ($4.50 per pint).

Spring Valley Farm and Orchard: canary melons (75 cents per pound), basil garlic vinegar ($10 per bottle).

At Saturday’s 14th & U Farmers Market:

Mountain View Farm: organic salad greens, chard, Japanese and Beauregard sweet potatoes, beans and butternut and delicata squash.

Pecan Meadow Farm: pumpkin whoopie pies and pumpkin bread, pastured lamb, chicken, goat, rabbit and brown eggs .

Whisked!: peach and blackberry pie; roasted garlic and tomato savory tart; spinach, basil and sun-dried tomato quiche; summer fruit cobbler.

Kuhn Orchards: Bartlett and Asian pears, grapes, butterscotch melons, plums, leeks, Zestar and Blondee (golden Gala-type) apples.

McCleaf’s Orchard: kiwi berries, cider, melons, eggplant, blackberries and apples.

Garner’s Produce: green beans, acorn squash, radishes and bicolor corn.

Truck Patch Farms: Pepper varieties include jalapeno, habanero, Chesapeake fish, serrano, cherry bomb, pimento, ancho; plus bell and sweet peppers that include green, purple beauty, Golden Cal and Big Red.

Dolcezza: gelato, including yellow peach, yellow nectarine, lemon opal basil, cucumber mint vodka, mojito and lemon ricotta cardamom.

At Saturday’s H Street NE FreshFarm Market:

Quaker Valley Orchards: apples.

At Saturday’s FreshFarm Market in Bethesda:

Knouse Fruitlands: white nectarines.

Black Rock Orchard: Bartlett pears.

At Sunday’s Takoma Park Farmers Market:

Audia’s Farm: sweet potatoes and Jerusalem artichokes.

Twin Springs Fruit Farm: Zephyr white nectarines, canary melons, encore and Laurel peaches; honeycrisp and Fuji apples and Bartlett pears.

Glenville Hollow Farms: Italian green beans.

Black Rock Orchard: Zestar, McIntosh and ala apples.

Calvert’s Gift Farm: sweet potatoes, ginger, arugula, pea shoots and baby turnips.

Cherry Glen Goat Cheese Co.: chevre.

Atwater’s Bakery: varieties of bread, including sourdough; pastries including muffins, scones, cookies, granola and tea cakes.

At Sunday’s Bloomingdale Farmers Market:

Panorama Bakery: mini-braided brioche loaves ($5 for 4).

SPECIAL EVENTS

At Thursday’s FreshFarm Market in Penn Quarter, chef Terry Natas of Carmine’s will demonstrate a salad with fall fruit and walnuts, from 4 to 5 p.m.

At Saturday’s FreshFarm Market in Bethesda: Elizabeth Petty of Elizabeth’s Gone Raw perform a demonstration from 11 am. to noon.

At Saturday’s H Street NE FreshFarm Market: Market staffer Juliet Glass will demonstrate how to make peach and vanilla bean jam, from 9 to 10 a.m.

At Tuesday’s FreshFarm Market in Crystal City: Omar Rodriguez of Jaleo will demonstrate an heirloom tomato salad, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

At Wednesday’s FreshFarm Market in Foggy Bottom: John Snedden of Rocklands will conduct a chef demo, from 4 to 5 p.m.

At Wednesday’s Health and Human Services FreshFarm Market: Food educator Melissa Jones will conduct a chef demo, from noon to 1 p.m.
