Savor will return to the National Building Museum in spring 2014.

It's official: The annual beer and food festival Savor
will move to New York for 2013. The two-night event will take place June 14-15 at the Metropolitan Pavilion and adjoining Altman Building in Manhattan, according to a news release from the Brewers Association
, which stages the showcase. Tickets will go on sale April 17, 2013.
Savor, however, will return to its usual haunt, the National Building Museum in Washington, May 9-10, 2014.
One of the reasons for moving Savor is that the District will host another major event in 2013: the annual Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo Trade Show, set for March 26-29 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Additionally, the National Beer Wholesalers Association will hold its annual legislative conference at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill the following month (April 14-17). Both are industry events not open to the general public, but the influx of brewers should guarantee numerous dinners, tastings and special releases next spring.
