‘Top Chef All-Stars’ chat: Blais’s put-on

Richard Blais was more like Richard Lewis last night on "Top Chef All-Stars," whining about anything and everything he prepared. At one point, Blais was so despondent over his efforts, I believe he said, "I even hate my mother's cooking. Come to think of it, I hate my mom, too."

But maybe I misheard.

Well, The Post's crack "Top Chef" analytical team isn't quite buying Blais's crying game. Says Food Editor Joe Yonan : "People find it endearing, and I don't believe it for a second. I don't believe it. I think it's a put-on."

Deputy Food Editor Bonnie Benwick seemed to agree. So what do you think about the Blais Self-Deprecation Game? Is it a game?

While you're chewing that over, watch the rest of this week's "Top Chef All-Stars" chat.
