‘Top Chef: Texas’: The Tweeting party

Grayson Schmitz, Paul Qui, Chris Crary and Chuy Valencia in the episode called “Quinceanera.” (VIRGINIA SHERWOOD/BRAVO)
It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for our “Top Chef: Texas” live Tweeting frenzy to resume with episode 3 tonight, the first of the real competitions after the final 16 got their chef’s jackets. I have high hopes that we'll see some real Texas culture tonight, since the episode is entitled “Quinceanera,” meaning the chefs must be cooking for the Latina sweet-16 parties so popular in the state. (I did more than just go to several when in high school in West Texas — I actually participated in one.)

Follow along in the space after the jump, or follow me, Tim Carman , Bonnie Benwick and/or Carol Blymire on Twitter. Remember, while they’re live you can also comment on our Tweets below.

And stay tuned, of course, for Carol’s wrap-up tomorrow morning.
