‘Top Chef: Texas,’ the whole Tweetin’ match

Let’s see if I have this straight: For episode six of “Top Chef: Texas,” the producers sent the chefs to Southfork Ranch (home of a TV show that was at its peak when many of these competitors were taking food in puree form), where they cooked a steak-based dinner for 200 diners, many of whom looked like they walked out of Central (Texas) Casting.

This episode, which boiled the great state of Texas down to its oldest cliches, was ripe for Twitter snark, and that’s exactly what the show received. Take a look after the jump.
