Christmas (Baby Please Come Home): Christmas Song Countdown

With three days to go, the eggnog is chilling. Hopefully you wouldn’t get too short-tempered at the shopping mall.

For the 25th time Friday night, the timeless Darlene Love will sing “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” on the “Late Show with David Letterman.” Letterman promises Christmas doesn’t really start until Love, a new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, sings this song. We agree.

Previously on Arts Post, Bruce Springsteen did “Merry Christmas Baby.”

Judy Collins sang “Silver Bells.”

Angelique Kidjo did “O Holy Night.”

Johnny Mathis did “Sleigh Ride.”

Aaron Neville sang “Louisiana Christmas Day.”

David Bowie and Bing Crosby sang “The Little Drummer Boy.”

Aretha Franklin sang “Angels We Have Heard on High.”
