“Follies” goes to Broadway

The Kennedy Center’s wildly popular production of “Follies” is coming to the Great White Way. The show, about a group of former performance stars waxing nostalgic on their past stage days, will be performed for a limited time at the Marquis Theatre in New York City. The production at the Kennedy Center will end Sunday, June 19, giving DCists just four more days to enjoy it. The Washington production includes Broadway vets Danny Burstein, Linda Lavin, Bernadette Peters, Jan Maxwell and Ron Raines. Howerver, information on the number of cast members going to New York for the show is not know at this time. More information from the Kennedy Center concerning casting and ticket information will follow. For more information, visit kennedycenter.org
