Corcoran Gallery of Art
is allowing free admission for patrons on Saturdays this summer, and will hold interactive events for participants to enjoy, including Chalk Drawings, a Highlights Tour of both the temporary exhibitions and the permanent collection, and live model sketching. Other special programs include Take Your Painting on a Walk Day on Jul. 9; creating a Edible Color Wheel (ages 4-12) on Aug. 6 and a Photo Safari on Aug. 13. The Corcoran is located at 500 17th Street NW and is open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
