Kennedy Center Swing Festival: Learn some moves

“Swing, Swing, Swing,” a festival at the Kennedy Center devoted to the music and dances of the Swing Era, has reached its final two nights.
George Benson (MARCO GLAVIANO)

In the Concert Hall Friday and Saturday George Benson joins the National Symphony Orchestra Pops in a tribute to Nat “King” Cole.

In the foyer on Friday Nellie McKay and the Eric Felten Jazz Orchestra will play two sets, at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. The final classes of the festival will begin at 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

The Kennedy Center has developed a link to all of the festival’s highlights.

By this time everyone should know how hard it was for Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers to make it look so easy.
