This continues a survey of the songs of the times, leading up to the dedication of the Rev. Martin L. King Jr. Memorial Sunday. The memorial is now open to the public but closes Thursday night to prepare for the official unveiling.

“Keep Your Eyes on the Prize was also recorded by Bruce Springsteen in his 2006 album ”We Shall Overcome--The Seeger Sessions.”

Here’s Bruce performing the anthem live in 2006.
