The Phillips Collection is lowering its admission price to $0 – at least for a day. On May 18, the museum is holding a free admission day to all visitors, in honor of International Museum Day.
The free admission will allow patrons to view both the special and permanent collections, including an installation of paintings by Augustus Vincent Tack in the Music Room, showcased as part of the “90 Years of New” collection, as well as the classic Rothko Room.
The museum will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and is located on 1600 21st street NW. For more information visit phillipscollection.org.
