“Jeopardy!” blew through town recently for its “Power Players” edition, taping five shows over the course of Saturday at DAR Constitution Hall, whose stage was redecorated with a Greek-like colonnade, a Lincoln statue and a giant flag backdrop. (See my profile of the show’s host, Alex Trebek, here.)
View Photo Gallery: Some 6,300 episodes of “Jeopardy!” have covered plenty of questions (which are really the answers, of course), but with the long-running game show in Washington for “Power Players Week,” here’s one still remaining: Who is Alex Trebek?
We can’t leak who won what, but suffice to say: Seeing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (7’2”) stand next to fellow contestant Dana Perino (we’re guessing 5’2”) was amusing.
The shows will air in mid-May, but in the meantime, how about a mental warmup? We’ll leave the answer-and-question format to the real deal and instead offer this multiple-choice quiz (after the jump) on Trebek and “America’s Favorite Quiz Show.”
