Scarf-tying 101: Are you an Infinity or a Modern Loop? (Video)

You’re probably a Modern Loop. Maybe a Bunny Ears or an Infinity when you’re feeling fancy, or a European Loop when it’s very cold. You may think you’ve perfected the various scarf-tying techniques — but one viral video aims to prove you wrong. The video teaches you 25 ways to artfully arrange your scarves, just in time for cold weather.

See the video after the jump.

It’s an especially useful thing to learn when money is tight, as a scarf can update any outfit. The more permutations of scarf-tying you learn, the more versatile your wardrobe can become. Some, like the Waterfall, can dress up a plain frock or t-shirt if done in silks, while others, like the Hidden Knot, are better suited for keeping necks warm in woolly outdoor scarves.

At the intersection of math and fashion there are other types of clothing permutations: Try these 85 ways to tie a tie, and 36 ways to tie your shoelaces.
