The actor announced he has developed an evening called “Shatner’s World: We Just Live in It” for Broadway. Shatner, forever saddled with his role as Capt. James T. Kirk of the “Star Trek” franchise, has an impressive resume as a Shakespeare actor, television actor, novelist and advertising pitchman. The acting work of the Canadian-born icon has won him two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
Washington Trekkies, take note-- All the lines of the D.C. to New York bargain buses will get you there in time for a matinee and back home for re-runs the same day. The show opens for previews Feb. 14 at the Music Box Theatre and, as of now, is scheduled to close March 4.
