For 30 years the Capitol Fourth concert has given Washingtonians a front-row seat for first-class entertainment and a spectacular view of the holiday fireworks.

This year the line-up for “A Capitol Fourth” promises a rocky good-time on the Capitol’s West Lawn.

Scheduled to appear are Josh Groban, the Grammy award winning singer, Little Richard, one of the architects of rock ‘n roll, Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, the actor’s award-

winning bango group, Matthew Morrison, the star of “Glee”, Jordin Sparks, a winner of “American Idol.”

The National Symphony Orchestra will provide their own solos and backup.

The show is broadcast live on PBS stations on July 4 from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
