The cast of “Wicked” holds benefit cabaret performance TONIGHT at American University

Do you have a secret desire to be a cast member of the Tony-award winning play “Wicked?”

Well, now’s your chance to fulfill your dreams - and simultaneously support a worthy cause.

Our Wicked Wicked Ways ,” a benefit event hosted by the National Touring Company of “Wicked,” will be held TONIGHT at American University in the Harold and Sylvia Greenberg Theatre. Cast members including Stephanie Brown, Randy Danson, and Mariand Torres will entertain with cabaret performances, coupled with a silent auction. Those interested can bid on “Wicked” mementos and chances to interact with the cast - even the opportunity to win a walk-on role in the show, currently in performance at The Kennedy Center through August 21.

The performance starts at 7:30 p.m., and is intended for mature audiences.

Tickets to tonight’s event can be purchased at the door and are $45, with all funds benefitting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Food & Friends. There will be an open bar for guests to access before and after the show. The Theater is located at 4200 Wisconsin Avenue NW.
