Forums: Talk amongst yourselves

Our newest feature for commenters should look soothingly familiar. Forums — old-school threaded conversations — have been a deeply woven part of the digital experience since the days of online bulletin boards. They’re also an intuitive way to allow you, the user, to drive conversation around the topics that interest you.

Brand-new this week are forums on sports and politics that provide a space for fresh debate about the Redskins, the Nationals, Congress, the White House and more. Just log in to the site, pick a forum and dive in.

Want to create your own forum topic? It’s easy. Navigate to the forum of your choice, click the New Topic button, fill in the fields that appear and click Post.

We hope to roll out even more new forums in the coming weeks. In the meantime, let us know what you think. Leave your thoughts and ideas in the comments section below, or e-mail our on-site engagement team at comments@washpost.com.
