Aurora borealis from an airplane (Video)

Monday, video emerged of an Air France airplane clipping another plane as it backed out of a terminal in New York. Today, a much happier video has surfaced from an Air France flight. A photographer on a flight from San Francisco to Paris set up a camera on a tripod and proceeded to take a photograph every 2 to 30 seconds for the entire 11-hour trip. Thanks to the northern flight path, when the plane passes over the Arctic (starting around 1:15 in the video), the aurora borealis dances across the plane’s wing.
