Christine O’Donnell was interviewed by Piers Morgan on his eponymous television show Wednesday night and walked out when questioned by the CNN host.

The former Senate candidate from Delaware and tea party favorite has a new book out, called “Troublemaker: Let’s Do What It Takes to Make America Great Again.”

She talked about her primary run, her comments on witchcraft, her failed campaign against Democrat Christopher Coons and the tea party movement.

When Morgan asked O’Donnell whether she supports gay marriage, she asks about the relevance of the line of questioning.

“You’re getting, you’re borderline being a little bit rude,” was her first response.

“Right now, what I’m trying to do is to promote a book that I hope to be a very inspirational story to people who are part of the tea party movement,” she said.

Morgan asked her why she was “being so weird about this.”

“I’m not being weird about this, Piers,” she responded, saying she was not running for office. “I’m not being weird, you’re being a little rude,” she said.

Morgan said he was asking her questions based on her public statements and book.

“Don’t you think as a host, if I say this is what I want to talk about, that’s what we should address?” O’Donnell said.

Morgan said no, and O’Donnell said, “I’m being pulled away. You know, we turned down another interview for this.”

Someone then walked in front of the camera and obscured a view of O’Donnell for a short time. She said she chose to be late for a speech at the Republican Women’s Club, asked if Morgan has read the book and if they were done.

Morgan tweeted about what happened here (these are in chronological order):
