Holy Week begins amid palm fronds and parades (photos)

Amid palm fronds and parades, the Christian celebration of Holy Week began Sunday in remembrance of the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Around the world, Christian worshippers commemorate Jesus Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday, Jesus's crucifixion on Good Friday and his resurrection Easter Sunday.
