‘I Don’t Wanna be a Crappy Housewife’ may be the next ‘Friday’ (Video)

If you love painfully awful music videos destined to go viral, you’re in luck.

“I Don’t Wanna be a Crappy Housewife” introduces the world to Norway’s glamourous recording artist Tonje Langeteig, who goes to the disco after deciding being a homemaker is “crappy.” In a music video for the song, which shows Langeteig and her friends partying at a sparsely populated club, she declares, “I’m a little pretty girl trapped inside a grown-up’s body.” Which is a completely normal thing to say.

So will the video reach the same heights as Rebecca Black’s “Friday?” Like the inescapable Ark Music Factory disaster that became so popular it was covered on “Glee,” “Crappy Housewife” features highly processed singing, questionable lyrics and a nonsensical rap solo.

Any questions about Langeteig’s vocal abilities can be cleared up by a partially lip-synched live performance of the song, during which her rapping sidekicks bop around stage for no apparent reason.

Just watch it already!
