The Kilauea volcano has unleashed a new round of fiery lava onto the island, but it is not a new eruption. Rather, the volcano has been erupting consistently since Jan. 3, 1983. However, a new vent has opened up in the volcano, thanks to a collapse of the crater’s bottom. The new vent allowed for lava to spray 65 feet into the air.
